Kagemasa Kozuki was born on November 12, 1940. He graduated Kansai University in March 1966 with a Bachelor of Economics and at age of 28 he founded Konami in Osaka, Japan in 1969 as a jukebox rental and repair business. He is the current chairman, CEO and President of Konami and, as of April 1 2011, Corporate Officer.

As of May 2008, Kagemasa is the 34th richest person in Japan with an estimated personal net worth of $790 million.

On March 21, 1969, Kagemasa Kozuki (current chairman) founded a jukebox rental/repair business in Toyonaka, Osaka.

On March 19, 1973, Kozuki transformed the business into Konami Industry Co., Ltd. and began work on manufacturing "amusement machines" for arcades.
