Will Gould
Joint CCO
Before founding Moonage Pictures with Matthew and Frith, Will spent twelve years at Tiger Aspect, where he ran the drama department for five years and was the co-MD of the company for his final year. His Executive Producing credits there include Peaky Blinders, Ripper Street, My Mad Fat Diary, Public Enemies and Decline and Fall. He started his television career working on the ITV soap opera Night & Day.
Matthew Read
Joint CCO
Matthew started out in daytime soap, working in the script departments of Family Affairs and Night & Day. He produced two series of Miss Marple for ITV before moving to the BBC where he worked as a Commissioning Editor. Over the next ten years his credits included Last Tango In Halifax, Peaky Blinders, Doctor Foster, Happy Valley, Taboo and McMafia. While he was at the BBC he started moonlighting in film, writing the screenplays for Pusher and Hammer of the Gods and executive producing Only God Forgives and The Neon Demon.
Frith Tiplady
Managing Director
Prior to Moonage Pictures, Frith was the co-MD of Tiger Aspect Drama having joined the company as Head of Production in Her list of credits has included Peaky Blinders, Fortitude and Ripper Street. Other programmes include The A Word, My Mad Fat Diary, Robin Hood, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Blood & Oil, The Boys are Back and the BAFTA winning single films Marvellous and White Girl. Previously, Frith worked as a freelance line producer on such shows as Clocking Off, Sparkhouse, Burn It, Flesh & Blood and Brookside.
Tara Buckwell
Director of Business and Commercial Affairs
Tara joined Moonage Pictures in January as Director of Commercial & Business Affairs. Prior to this, Tara was Director of Commercial & Legal Affairs Affairs, Drama for Tiger Aspect Productions having joined the company in , where she advised on television and film development, production and distribution. Her list of production and financing credits include Curfew, Ripper Street, Teachers, Peaky Blinders, Marvellous, White Girl and Omagh.
Alex Frost
Head of Finance
Alex joined Moonage Pictures in January as Head of Production Finance. He was previously Senior Production Accountant at Tiger Aspect Productions having joined the company in His list of credits include Curfew, Fortitude, Adult Material, Bounty Hunters, Vicar of Dibley and Benidorm.
Matthew Wilson
Head of Development
Matthew Wilson became Moonage’s first Head of Development (and second Matthew) in June He has previously had stints at the BBC, Scott Free and Channel 4 – where as Head of Development his slate included Brexit: The Uncivil War, Baghdad Central and Pure. As script editor he worked on BBC One’s smash hit Taboo, and ITV’s underappreciated gem The Scapegoat.
Lawrence Cochran
Development Producer
Lawrence joined Moonage Pictures as Development Producer in December He previously produced on two series of international action drama Strike Back, and his list of credits as a script editor include Oasis, Ripper Street, Partners in Crime, The Paradise and Good Cop. After joining the BBC as a trainee in , Lawrence was grateful to be plucked from obscurity by Moonage’s Matthew Read to gain some experience in the BBC Drama Commissioning department.
Florence Walker
Script Producer
Florence worked as script executive on The Pursuit of Love. She script edited series one of Curfew, series one of Ackley Bridge and was assistant script editor on National Treasure. Before joining Moonage she worked at The Forge Entertainment and Mainstreet Pictures.
Thom Hutchinson
Script Editor
Thom has been script-editing and contributing to development at Moonage Pictures part-time since early He previously worked for Mammoth Screen, ITV Studios and Marvel Television – on shows such as Poirot, Miss Marple, Lewis, Victoria, And Then There Were None and The City and the City. He moonlights as a writer and book editor, and briefly appeared as an alien butterfly in An Adventure in Space and Time.
Anna Hargreaves
Script Editor
Anna joined Moonage Pictures in May to script edit A GOOD GIRL’S GUIDE TO MURDER for the BBC/Netflix as well as working on various developments. She previously worked as a Development Executive at David Heyman’s production company Heyday Television and as Development Editor in the Drama commissioning team at Sky. Independently she has produced a few short films, and enjoyed dabbling in the film world.
Dami Sotinwa
Development Coordinator
Dami joined Moonage Pictures in early as an Office Runner. Later that year, Dami moved across into the development team and earned his first credit as Script Trainee on The Gentlemen. Since then, Dami has been coordinating development and working editorially across projects on the slate.

Izzie joined Moonage Pictures at the end of Previous to her move in house, she worked for 5 years as a freelancer in Production on TV Dramas such as Us, Black Earth Rising, The Durrell’s, Poldark and And Then There Were None.
