Head of Investor Relations Alexandra Kessel joined Turn/River in 2024. Alex started her career at Goldman Sachs, rising to Vice President over the course of six years. Following Goldman Sachs, she was a Vice President at Ionic Capital Management and was most recently a Director at Whale Rock Capital Management. Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.

Ankur is a seasoned CFO and Fortune 500 treasurer. He has led successful growth strategies and exits in both private and public companies, including helping companies get IPO-ready. He has experience in capital markets, M&A, strategy, finance transformation and team-building experience in a variety of industries, including SaaS, Insurtech, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Professional Services.

As Head of Legal, Emiko comes to Turn/River with more than 20 years of legal experience in the financial space, including serving as Vice President and Counsel at BlackRock; Director, Assistant General Counsel at Upstart; and ETF Investment Funds Analyst for Morningstar, Inc. She received her law degree from University of California, Berkeley.

Conor comes to Turn/River with extensive experience in Customer Success. Before joining Turn/River he was Head of Customer Success at Workboard, Clearbit, and Datahug. He also spent seven years as a senior consultant for Murex.

Before joining Turn/River as Vice President, Channel Sales, Kevin spent more than 12 years leading teams in product and platform partnerships and global channel sales for Stripe and Cisco Meraki. He has a law degree from Tulane University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester.

Cody joined Turn/River in 2024 as Director of Demand Generation. He is a seasoned marketing leader with over a decade of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, data-driven decision-making, and building high-performing marketing teams. He has led successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns for prominent companies such as Ramp, LendingTree and Stealth Venture Labs.

Matthew joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2023. Prior to that, he served as an Investment Banking Senior Analyst at Citi. Matthew holds Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and International Relations from Lehigh University.

Jared joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2023. Prior to that, he was an Associate Director of Investment Banking and an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS, a Hedge Fund Analyst at Doubletree Capital, and an intern at UBS and KPMG US. Jared holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.

Eric joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2024. Prior to that, he served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Vaquero Capital and an intern at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company. Eric holds Bachelor’s degrees in English, Economics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.

Sarabeth joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2024. Prior to that, she was an Analyst, Senior Analyst and Associate for Vista Point Advisors. Sarabeth holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting, Financial Reporting and Assurance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Business Adminstration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Aakanksha Saxena joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2024. Previously, she was an Investment Banking Analyst at Centerview Partners, where she focused on technology M&A transactions. Aakanksha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stanford.

Ria Jain joined Turn/River as an Investment Associate in 2024. Prior to this role, she was an Investment Banking Analyst for DBO Partners and interned for The Alewife Brook Cmpnay, Alpine Investors and others. Ria holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Statistics, and Decision Processes and a Minor in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Erin Kelli joined Turn/River in 2023 and leads Marketing for the Investment team. Erin spent most of her career scaling early stage startups such as HubSpot, Gusto, and Hearsay Social. Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University.

April specializes in talent and recruiting for tech-focused startups. She has partnered with founders and executive leadership to build early teams through her roles as Head of Talent and Recruiting Manager at companies such as Matic and Robert Walters.

Shelley joined Turn/River as an Accounting Manager in 2023. Prior to that, she worked for a breadth of companies, including a Big 4 accounting firm, a Fortune 500 global manufacturing company, a tech startup, and a Michelin-star restaurant. Shelley is earning an MBA from NYU and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business.

Erika Stallworth joined Turn/River as an Accounting Manager in 2024. She brings nearly 20 years of accounting, bookkeeping and operations management experience across a variety of industries.

Meera is an Analyst in our Investments department at Turn/River Capital. Prior to joining Turn/River in 2023, Meera was a Site Reliability Operations Summer Analyst at Palantir Technologies. Prior to that, she worked at SVB Capital as an intern. Meera holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Vinay Shah joined Turn/River as a Data Analyst in 2024. Before joining Turn/River, he served as a data analyst at Wells Fargo. Vinay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.

Shivum Berry joined Turn/River as an Investment Analyst in 2024. Before joining Turn/River he interned at Citi and Lai Capital Management and even founded his own high-end international yoyo company, Thesis Yoyos. Shivum holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Lily Hagerup joined Turn/River as an Investment Analyst in 2024. Lily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brown University

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tufts University James spent about eight years in procurement and inventory planning before shifting his focus to IT. Before joining Turn/River as IT Support Engineer, he spent nearly four years as an IT Specialist at Leia, Inc.

Nicole Kohrs is a Senior Executive Assistant at Turn/River Capital. Prior to joining Turn/River in 2022, Nicole was an Executive Assistant and Operations manager at Quiet Capital. Prior to that, she worked at Sandia National Laboratories and Trident Capital. Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco State University.

Amanda comes to Turn/River with nearly 17 years of experience in Marketing, Communications and Executive Assistant roles for companies such as Pinterest and Thomson Reuters. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.

Jennifer joined Turn/River as an Executive Assistant in 2024. Prior to that, she spent more than ten years in EA, Chief of Staff and Senior Integration Manager roles for Turn/River portfolio companies CoSoSys and Invicti, along with National Instruments.

Executive Assistant Tiffani Wong joined Turn/River in 2024. Prior to that she spent two years as an analyst for Financial Technology Partners. She has a Bachelor’s degree, International Relations and Affairs and German Studies from Lewis & Clark College, where she studied abroad and held a variety of internships and positions as analyst, marketer and student ambassador.
